We are looking for an Assessment Board Coordinator to join our international department. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire process of the assessment board between Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College (NBCBC) and De Montfort University (DMU) ensuring smooth operations, communication, and accurate documentation. The role is divided into 70% administrative duties and 30% student support. The individual in this role will attend assessment boards and module assessment review meetings, verify marksheets, support module leaders with their pre- and post-board activities, support students with assessing their results and academic progress, and assist with progression-related matters. Additionally, you will serve as the key liaison between NBCBC and DMU administrative teams, ensuring deadlines and processes are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Board: Upload and manage marksheets, assist module leaders with moderation folder setup, follow up on missing documents, and ensure clear communication with DMU admins. Conduct info sessions for students on assessing results and progression
- Post-Board: Coordinate the release of student results, share reports securely, manage resit lists, and communicate with faculty. Respond to student queries on results and progression, as well as assist in resolving discrepancies in marks. Ensure proper setting up of assessment links on Learning Zone (platform).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong English proficiency level
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to liaise effectively with students, faculty, and our partner DMU
- Experience in project management or administrative coordination, preferably in an educational environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other IT tools and platforms
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail
- A flexible approach, able to manage changes and adapt to new challenges.
Terms of employment
Employment will be secured as per collective agreement between Danish Ministry of Finance and the AC trade union. It is possible to apply for supplements in accordance with the rules for new salary.
